Stoney Brook Senior Living is a nonprofit organization with three welcoming communities in Central Texas, located near Waco, Austin, Dallas, and Fort Worth. You’ll find us in Belton, Copperas Cove, and Hewitt. With roots in caring for older adults since 1874, we’re proud to offer a relationship-centered lifestyle that prioritizes meaningful connections for supporting physical and emotional well-being.

What types of care do you provide?

We offer two levels of care tailored to meet your needs:

Assisted Living: For seniors who value their independence but may need a little extra support with daily activities.
Memory Care: Designed for residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive needs, providing specialized care in a secure and supportive environment.

What’s included in Assisted Living?

Our Assisted Living communities offer a variety of services and amenities designed to make life easier and more enjoyable. Here’s what’s included:

Caring community staff onsite 24 hours a day.
24-Hour emergency response systems
Chef-prepared meals and restaurant-style community dining.
All utilities, except personal telephone/personal internet
Housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services
Transportation to medical appointments.
Concierge services and a full range of amenities, activities, and social programs.
Access to customized care plans that can be tailored to your unique needs and abilities.
Personalized assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management, mobility, and more is available as your needs change.

Our Memory Care program is thoughtfully designed for residents with dementia or other cognitive needs. Here’s what sets us apart:

Compassionate staff, specially trained in dementia care best practices, and on-site 24 hours a day.
Secure spaces with monitoring to prevent wandering

How much does it cost?

The monthly cost is customized based on the size of the residence you prefer—be it a studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom—and the exact care services that best fit your lifestyle. We encourage you to reach out for a one-on-one discussion to explore the pricing options that align with your personal needs.

In general, you can expect the monthly cost of assisted living to vary by location and range from about $3,000 to $7,000 or more. Memory care pricing can vary and may be structured more all-inclusively, resulting in monthly costs slightly higher than those for traditional assisted living.

We offer cozy, single-story apartments in a range of sizes, from studio and studio suites to one- and two-bedroom apartments, and various sizes in between. Options include:

Private bathrooms with walk-in showers, safety bars, and benches.
Kitchenettes, emergency call systems, and easy access to enjoyable outdoor spaces.
Ample living space you can personalize with your own furnishings and décor.

Can I bring my pet?

Absolutely! Stoney Brook is pet-friendly. We love furry companions, but please ask about specific pet policies during your tour, as there may be guidelines on size, type, or additional fees.
