Samantha O'Neil - Sales and Marketing Director at Stoney Brook of Belton in Belton, Texas

Samantha O’Neil
Sales and Marketing Director

Samantha O’Neil is an optimistic and enthusiastic sales professional with over 13 years of experience in the assisted living community. She is skilled at helping families with determining the best options for their loved ones. Samantha began her career as a medication aide and a caregiver. In her first management role as the Life Enrichment Director, her goal was to enrich the lives of her residents. In later years, she took an opportunity to become the Business Office Manager and then the Sales and Marketing Director. Throughout her career, Samantha has developed relationships with local and national vendors to ensure her residents have the best resources. She attributes her success to her ability to listen to her residents and families and to put their needs first. 

In her free time, Samantha enjoys traveling, flea markets and anything Baylor. She grew up in the small town of Oglesby, where she still lives today, and has worked in the Temple/Belton area for the last eight years.

Victor Garcia - Director of Dining Services at Stoney Brook of Belton in Belton, Texas

Director of Dining Services

Victor Garcia grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and moved to Temple, Texas in 1981. He attended the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in culinary management. He also attends Greystone to continue learning more about the culinary industry and has used his skills for the past 20 years. 

Victor and his wife Kati are busy raising their two daughters and two sons along with three dogs and three lizards. In his spare time, Victor loves to go camping, hiking and fishing.

Suzanne Sturm at Stoney Brook of Belton in Belton, Texas

Suzanne Sturm
Director of Resident Care

Suzanne Sturm is the Director of Resident Care at Stoney Brook of Belton. Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Suzanne has been a Licensed Vocational Nurse (L.V.N.) for over 20 years and has worked in healthcare management for over 10 years. She brings a wide range of experience to her role, including a background in pediatrics, geriatrics, and hospice. Her passion for working as a clinician is closely tied to her love of working with older adults. She prides herself on providing compassionate care to residents and supporting families, especially during times of transition.

Suzanne has three boys, ages twenty-four, eighteen, and seven. Her oldest is stationed with the Coast Guard in Alaska, her middle son is a senior who plays football for Belton High School, and her youngest son is a student at Leon Heights Elementary School. Her free time is spent with her family, who enjoy boating at Belton Lake.

Trisha Taggart at Stoney Brook of Belton in Belton, Texas

Director of Life Enrichment

Trisha Taggart is the Director of Life Enrichment at Stoney Brook of Belton. She and her husband recently returned to Texas from Tennessee to live closer to extended family, and she now enjoys being part of the Stoney Brook team. Trisha shares her creative mindset, ideas, and abilities with residents, team members, and the entire community. Each day, she offers residents fun experiences and meaningful opportunities to connect with others, helping them live life to the fullest.

While living in Tennessee, Trisha owned her own pottery painting store. In her free time, she continues to enjoy arts and crafts, shopping, cooking, reading, traveling, and of course, pottery painting. She has two beautiful daughters and six dogs, whom she loves spending time with.

Heather Zammat at Stoney Brook of Belton in Belton, Texas

Executive Director

I’m married with 5 children. My oldest and only son is currently a freshman at Tarleton State University. He plays the snare on the Tarleton marching band drum line. I have 4 daughters ages 14, 13, 9 and 7. In my spare time I’m either attending my son’s college football games or attending one of my daughters select softball games.

I enjoy binge watching Netflix and spending time with my family. I have been an LVN for the past 18 years. I graduated in 2018 from Texas Tech University Health Science Center with a Master’s in Healthcare Administration.

Maintenance Director

Fred Nazario is the Director of Maintenance at Stoney Brook of Belton. He was born and raised in Killeen, Texas and now resides in Cameron, Texas. He brings 35 years of experience in the construction and building maintenance industry. 

Fred is the proud father of Trevor, Mitch, Morgan and Sheridan. He enjoys hunting and fishing during his leisure time.

Lucretia Eaton at Stoney Brook of Belton in Belton, Texas

Assisted Living Manager

Lucretia Eaton has been a member of the Stoney Brook family since 2022, starting as a resident assistant and later as an activities assistant before being promoted to Assisted Living Manager in October of 2025. Lucretia’s love of working with older adults was inspired by her caregiving journey with her own grandmother, who lived with dementia. She values every opportunity to nurture relationships with Stoney Brook residents and is dedicated to enhancing and enriching the lives of older adults in all aspects of care.

Outside of her role at Stoney Brook, Lucretia spends her time enjoying her four children and fifteen grandchildren. She loves any outdoor activity and finds joy in her faith, family, and opportunities to serve others.

Melanie Hernandez at Stoney Brook of Belton in Belton, Texas

Melanie Hernandez
Business Office Manager

Melanie Hernandez is the Business Office Manager at Stoney Brook of Belton. She began her career as a case manager at Families in Crisis in Temple/Kileen before starting at Stoney Brook of Belton in October of 2023 in a concierge role. She was soon promoted to Business Office Manager and has shared her local knowledge and community connections with the Stoney Brook of Belton family to support residents, families, team members, and guests alike.

Melanie is a Belton, Texas native who attended Belton High School with her three older siblings, graduating in 1996. She has been married to her spouse, Charles, for 16 years and has three children and four grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys watching the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys and loves spending time with family, especially on beach vacations.
